Holiday Celebration

On Friday, December 21st, we had our Holiday Celebration in Pod 3.  Earlier in the week, we started the movie "Prancer" and took time on Friday to finish it.  We also played Bingo as a whole Pod!  Mrs. Yahnke is a wonderful Bingo caller and spiced up the original Bingo game by adding in "Loser Bingo", "Rhyme Bingo", "Four Corners", etc.  We had a lot of winners from our classroom (see them below)...Way to Go Third Graders!

The first Thursday of each month is a special day in our classroom!  The reason it is so special is on those days, we have members of the Winona State Football team come to our classroom to read.  We read books, Scholastic News, and more!  We love having these great role models in our room and look forward to them coming each month.  :)
